Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk Belarus, which is the capital. Belarus. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She holds 12 WTA titles to her name in her career, which includes that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she shines. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. In 2019, she won each of her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in the women's doubles. In the month of January, 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. On the 23rd of August, 2021 she was promoted to the second spot in the world rankings. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February 2021, she was able to move up the rankings to be the number one player on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) played her as a coach for the duration of the 2019 season and from 2018 to the closing. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow nationman, has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
